He moved south and graduated from Georgia Tech, then began his career in Electrical Engineering. He realized that Corporate America wasn’t where he wanted to be; and by chance, in 1999 he discovered the world of Land Development and Real Estate, specifically on lakes in North Carolina. From there, he became a successful Real Estate Agent working in 100+ communities throughout the Southeast, and eventually broadened his horizons by representing many land developers in North Carolina and continues to remain focused on lake communities. Today, NClakefront.com Realty is one of the largest sales and marketing companies focusing on North Carolina Lake Properties, and continues to grow everyday.

He went to school for computer science at Franklin Pierce College. Prior to going into real estate Dwight was in the high-tech field for 12 years as a product manager at several start-up and large corporations. A real estate professional since 2002, Dwight and his wife, Dawn, first discovered Lake Hickory on the Internet. They came to the area and liked what they saw so much that they bought property in Lake Hickory’s Plantation Pointe community and plan to build their home there shortly. When he has a chance, he enjoys taking his wife, son and friends out on the lake to water ski, wakeboard and to go tubing.
